A Longhorn Wedding

On a hot day in July, at The Ranch at Lone Oak Longhorns, Carmen and Daniel said, “I Do” in front of close family, friends and some longhorns.

This wedding was as personal as they come! Carmen and Daniel have known each other since grade school. During our planning sessions Carmen would gush about how excited she was to marry the man she had always loved. She knew it way back then, but they led different lives until one day they found each other again and the rest is history.

As I mentioned before this wedding was as personal as they come. The florist was Carmen’s mother, the DJ (Mic Rose) is a close friend from high school, the caterer also a close friend and they got married in their hometown!

Guests were greeted with ice cold water before the ceremony, which was necessary considering it was almost 106 degrees out! One of the hottest summer days this year, but so beautiful. They witnessed a lovely ceremony officiated by Francisco Cross, Carmen’s brother then were lead to a cocktail hour inside the venue’s gorgeous ranch style home.

After their grand entrance everyone enjoyed a DELICIOUS mexican buffet for dinner. The tacos were amazing!

Before the dancing could start the cake needed to be served and Nothing Bundt Cakes did not disappoint! Carmen loves lemon cake so she decided to order a variety of lemon bundt cakes for her guests to enjoy, GENIUS!

This family knew how to party! It was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day, and the photos speak for themselves! We are all so happy for Carmen and Daniel. I can’t wait to see what’s next for them! See more photos below of this gorgeous wedding!
